We are heading for Sheffield this week for the final workshop! We are delighted that this event is featuring in Sheffield’s Off The Shelf festival which has been running since the early 90s. This year the festival line up includes Robert Webb, Mark Haddon and Brian Blessed, so we really are amongst illustrious company!! Our involvement in the festival is down to Alice Bell, a member of our Advisory Group and project leader for Reading Digital Fiction, based at Sheffield Hallam. A massive thanks to Alice for helping us make this connection. Also featuring in this year’s festival is an exhibition based on the work of the fascinating Reading Sheffield project which has been capturing stories of ordinary readers from the area going back to the early decades of the twentieth century.
